First of all I’d like to apologize for my lack of posting so far. Unfortunately things come on and it’s not possible to write. I had surgery on my mouth and some complications including being sick in bed for a few days. So I was not able to review any movies for about a week but later today I plan on writing a review of the Next Avengers and hope to start writing a movie review a day.

Second I would like to apologize if the spacing and other formatting on this blog is not very good. This is my first time using this site so I’m still learning how everything works. Until then the formatting might not look the best. I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it soon though.

You may have noticed that I tagged my first movie Son of Rambow with the category “5″. I decided that in addition to ranking each movie I would give them a star rating of somewhere between 1 and 5 and make that the category the movie is under. That way if you only want to read the reviews of the best movies then you can click on the category “5″. If you only want to see what I have to say about really bad movies then click on the category “1″. Keep in mind that my star ratings not be the same as professional movie critics. To me a 5 star movie isn’t a movie that should sweep at the Oscars it’s just a movie that I really enjoyed watching.

I also decided that occasionally I’m going to do a special segment called Then and Now. For the Then and Now movie I will watch a movie and its remake and instead of reviewing the two movies separately I will compare the two movies to each other. Who knows maybe someday I’ll even compare adaptations of comic book, video games, books, etc to the original material too.
